22-Oct-18: How to make your presentations interesting

How to make your presentations interesting & engaging

Worried about sending your audience to sleep? Don't give long-winded, boring or dull presentations. If your audience has switched off your expertise is worth nothing - because no one is listening. What a waste!

Instead, learn how to make your presentations interesting without sacrificing the importance or accuracy of your content ... in this dynamic tele-class ... for only 12 people.

This dynamic presentation skills tele-class will cover how to:

  • Bring even dry and technical speech topics to life, whether of a legal, financial, scientific or technical nature.
  • Not be boring!
  • Adapt to each audience for maximum relevance.
  • Use credible ways to gain the audience's attention at the beginning, middle and end.
  • Assert your key messages and avoid preambles.
  • Choose the examples, language and explanations that best fit each audience.
  • Use relevant and interesting PowerPoints - no more death by PowerPoint.
  • Gain an energetic audience response.
  • Increase audience interaction.

IMPORTANT: Once you have paid you will receive an email from us within 24 hours asking you to register. If you do not hear then contact us urgently.

  • This is an interactive seminar held on your computer. There is a presenter and a group of participants. However, instead of sitting in a seminar room you join in via your computer, tablet or phone from anywhere.
  • You watch and listen to the presenter speaking.
  • You see the presenter's PowerPoint slides.
  • You are able to write questions and comments to the presenter all the way through and she responds.
  • You also see the other participants' questions, comments and answers.
  • You do not need a microphone or webcam. (However, if you do, you may use them if you wish.)
  • The tele-classes are not boring - or time wasting. They are packed with high content and start bang on time with dynamic information.
  • No time wasted on travel.

Presenter: Rachel Green:

Really convenient way to receive training

This was the first tele-class I've attended. It was easy and a really convenient way to receive training - all in the comfort of my dining room! Rachel delivered excellent content and had plenty of great practical examples. I thoroughly recommend this type of training.

Kym Godfrey. Director, Accent West. WA.
Dramatically changed how I present to others

Rachel provided my leadership team with a presentation skills workshop. At the risk of sounding like a cheesy American TV advert - the workshop dramatically changed how I present to others because the emphasis was on the emotional connection with the audience.

Jonathan Throssell, CEO, Shire of Mundaring, Perth, WA.
Short, sharp and to the point

It was great to be able to do this live tele-class, in my own space and with no travel and accommodation expenses, but still being able to interact with other participants. Rachel's presentation was short, sharp and to the point; and I was able to take away so much from it, even though we only had an hour.

Cherie Wallace, Coordinator Statutory Planning, City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Western Australia.
You were very helpful to me

You were very helpful to me all those years ago. The most important thing I learned from your presentation training was that it was ok to be myself. I do not know if I ever told you that.

Hon. Cheryl Edwardes, B.Juris., L.L.M, B.A. Consultant solicitor and former member of WA Government State Cabinet.
Tele-class technology so easy

Your tele-class was a wonderful experience. Living in the country makes it difficult to gain access to valuable information and I find the tele-class technology so easy.

Donna Rayner, Project Officer, Mingenew-Irwin Group, Western Australia.
